FAQ

Die-Cut vs Printed

Die-cut decals are one solid color of vinyl (usually white) cut to the artwork's outline. They come on transfer tape and apply as one piece. Best on tinted glass and dark paint.

Printed decals are full-color prints on white vinyl with a clear laminate, contour-cut about a sixteenth of an inch outside the artwork. Best when the design needs red, navy, or shading.

Application

  • Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol and let it dry.
  • Peel the backing paper away, leaving the decal on the transfer tape.
  • Position it, then squeegee firmly from the center out with a credit card.
  • Peel the transfer tape back slowly at a sharp angle.
  • Wait 24 hours before washing.

Durability

Outdoor-grade cast vinyl with a five-plus year outdoor rating. UV-resistant, waterproof, and car-wash safe once cured. Avoid pressure-washing directly at the edges.
